Over the past 25 years, Brora has been enjoyed by customers of all ages, shapes and sizes. Here, we introduce some of those people and share their stories.
Grace, 30 is a Poet and Publicity Manager and has fond memories of her mum dressed in Brora cashmere.
What achievement are you most proud of?
Hmmm I think probably performing at Hay festival, a literary festival which brings readers and writers together. It’s one of my favourite places.
What is the most rewarding part of your job?
Getting a book the press it deserves. It’s a difficult game. Nothing feels better than when I’ve spent the whole day writing and don’t actually hate what I’ve written.
What are your earliest memories of Brora? What was the first piece you ever owned?
I first owned a pair of wristwarmers which I was given as a present and was instantly converted. I remember showing them off to school friends and thinking I was extremely cool.
What is your favourite Brora piece you own?
I love them all, but you rarely see me without my favourite cosy cashmere jumper. It’s just so easy to wear and goes with everything.
Do you have any particular memories involving Brora?
My mum wearing a long and ridiculously soft cardigan from Brora. I would follow her around the house stroking it just to feel how luxurious it was.
Where do you go to for fashion inspiration?
I often spend my lunch breaks scrolling through the internet and looking for ideas.
Do you have a fashion muse and if so, who?
My sisters and cousins, even though I am much older than them!
