A chic 1950s inspired evening cover-up, or a stylish casual layer; lady-like elegance is what springs to mind with this beautiful vintage cardigan. The pretty shawl collar shape makes it the perfect partner for a sleek pencil skirt, but especially when trying to femininse a relaxed, slightly masculine look.

Lovely relaxed style

A good fit in normal size (3/4 sleeves a little cold in winter but will be great in spring/summer). The Moss colour is sensational.

Beautiful colour,but not for me

The colour (crabapple) was lovely but didn't suit me at all and sadly, the fit was odd and did nothing for me. I returned it, but am not put off!

Pounds per wear

This cardigan has proved good value ( I tell myself") and I wear my two cardigans with everything in my wardrobe. I love the length of both the body and the sleeves and I love the style. Only reservation is that the collar has become detached from the body of both of the cardigans over time. It won't stop me buying another one though.

I agree: two inches longer, please

I have two of these cardigans, and do love them, but must have a matching thermal underneath to achieve a decent length. I am 5feet 9 inches tall, and this cardigan is simply too short on its own. Please offer a longer length for taller customers. I would pay more for this option.

Disappointed

I love this cardigan shape and hoped the Platinum would be a lovely, silver grey as in the photo. It turned out to be a rather dead, putty colour so it had to go back.

Make it two inches longer

I am an average height on 5ft 6". Why oh why don't Brora make more collar cardigans? But also a couple of inches longer. It is just too short in the body, and makes it uncomfortable to wear, as a cold gap tends to appear. Many women of my age want cardigans/jersies that we can wear without anything except underwear underneath, as everywhere is so hot! But Though this lovely cardigan has a collar, very flattering to my age, it is too short for comfort. I bit the bullet and sent the lovely crabapple one back. Please take note for further collections!!

LOVELY NOSTALGIA, BIT BIG

I have this in pink, pale grey and purple. It's a lovely nostalgic cardigan, bit 1930s. But agree with others who find it large/shapeless. Also three quarter sleeves - I don't get them. They may look more feminine but I just want to keep pulling them down. If we want shorter sleeves we can slide them up a bit. With long sleeves and a slightly fitted waist this would be perfect. Usual size too baggy, size down too small. I think it's the fit not the size. Still lovely though.

This sweater's so nice, I bought it twice

I already own this cardi in amethyst and bought it again in cerulean; both are rich, slightly heathered colours. It is a bit wide in the body--might size down though the size down was sold out. I decided to buy it anyway (in the sales) since I wear version one so often. Buttons are securely sewn and there has been minimal to no pilling on the amethyst version, which I believe is as it should be for the price.

Three-quarter length sleeves

I am sending this cardigan back because I didn't realise that the sleeves were 3/4 length. In fact on me they were a sort of 5/8 length and simply looked as if they'd shrunk! Great pity because the colour (cerulean) was a beautiful shade. Please make other garments in this colour.

DISAPPOINTED BY QUALITY

I have ordered this style in various colours and was always happy with fit and quality - however, the last, navy one I bought was very poor quality. The stitching around collar and sleeves began to unravel about a week after purchase. Should have returned it, I know, but instead had the "fun" of mending it myself. Not Brora's usual quality.
